They’re great. They’re always willing to help. They’re always willing to get you a quick appointment.

Diane Kamp – Assistant Director, Castaway Critters

I really cannot say enough of about this great office. Dr Sarsfield, Dr. Kepner, Dr. Balmer have been true life savers over the years. More importantly we know they care.

Dorothy Ward – Harrisburg, 15-year + client

I’ve always liked their friendly, compassionate, caring attitude. From the front desk to the back … everyone is just great. They’re all good people.

Kathy Carper – Annville, 15-year + client

The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The doctors, I don’t know what I would do without Dr Sarsfield. He’s always steered me in the right direction. I always felt very confident in whatever he said.

Pat Crumb – Harrisburg, 30-year + client

I recommend them to everybody. They’re our go-to! It’s the best place. Everybody is very caring – everyone has always been super. The vets, themselves are really wonderful. Dr Kepner, he took care of one of our older Irish Setters, and he sat there all night with her, and he saved her life.

Jeff and Lisa Hopkins

If you care for your pet and treat them like family, there’s only one place to go. This is the best kept secret and an exceptional animal hospital. Our little cat cat an abscess erupt on his hindquarter during the night. Unexpectedly, Dr. Kepner got him in for surgery right away. Afterwards, Dr. Kepner allowed us to take him home that night to recover, which helped us and Scooter, our kitty. During the next week we had all types of mini-emergencies as Scooter pulled off his cone and his stitches, but each occasion and each call to the office was met with extreme care, respect, concern for our issues from the front office staff, the vet techs and Doctors Balmer and Allen. Needing one more surgery, Dr. Sarsfield accomplished, and his skill and expertise was magnificent. Thank you all! Jeff and Lisa Hopkins (and scooter)

Dr. Sarsfield takes such extraordinary measures to explain everything he is doing or thinks should be done for Matigan. He’s never rushed and uses a wonderful gentle manner. Matigan isn’t young any more, but I hope we have many years of working with Dr. Sarsfield.

Bill Costello – 30-year-client

I have been bringing my pets to Dauphin Co Animal Hospital for almost 30 years now and have never had a bad experience. Throughout the years the many doctors that have seen my animals only had the interest of helping the pet get well. I have the greatest respect for the Dr’s and the staff and will continue to bring my pets to you. When any of my many pets were hospitalized, I was allowed to come down several times to visit them which is important to any ill animal to see a family face and hear their voice. Over the many years I had to ‘put down’ several pets and the Dr’s allowed me to hold each one as they did their ‘duty’ to put the animal to rest. I have recommended this facility to many people over the years and just the other day recommended one of my co-workers to give you a call for a second opinion on her pet. Thank you all for being the caring individuals that you are.
