Most of you know that one of our technicians/receptionists, D’arcie, had been very pregnant. Well now we are proud to announce that Raquelle Scott Snyder was welcomed into the world by her proud parents D’arcie and Josh. After D’arcie was induced, had hours of labor, and finally a C-section, Raquelle was born at 4AM on October 23rd. She was 7 pounds 7 ounces and , 20 ¾ inches long. Definitely she has her mom’s nose! Mom and baby were released in good health this week. We are all excited about having Raquelle, with her little cherub cheeks, as an addition to the Hospital of Dauphin County’s family. She definitely kept us all waiting!
We’d all like to welcome Mary Eileen Shellenberger to our family at the Animal Hospital of Dauphin County. Her mom is one of our technicians, Katie. Katie conveniently went into labor while in her doctor’s office while being seen for a cat bite wound to her hand. The baby and Katie’s hand are both doing well. Mary Eileen was born on September 1st which is also Dr. Sarsfield’s birthday. She was 6lb 6oz and 17in long. We’ve all been awaiting her arrival and are happy she finally made her appearance.
