Their rehabilitation program and staff are fabulous! I will admit I was a little skeptical at first, but my 11 year old was really starting to struggle with his arthritis and quality of life.
He is like a whole new dog! Much happier (due to less pain), eating better and acting like a younger pup again!

Our regular vet was unable to diagnose my dog's issue, so we made an appointment @ AHDC. We saw Dr. Rudakewiz. She did a hands on exam and identified the issue. She and her assistant were friendly, compassionate and knowledgeable. Dr. R explained causes, treatment and future steps, if needed. We are very happy and would highly recommend.
They definitely take care of the animals that are in their care. The staff makes you feel secure in their knowledge and help put both you and your pet at ease

Incredibly grateful for the services received for my Leopard Gecko, Lily at Animal Hospital of Dauphin County this past August. The professionalism from all the staff here is commendable. Front desk staff, techs as well as vets have all been great to me when visiting or calling with questions.
When my senior Leo started having some health concerns, Dr. Starvetsky gave me fantastic advice and care plan for her. I believe she helped me extend Lily's life and improve the quality of her life as well. I had previously seen another vet at a different practice that gave me significantly more meager instructions; the difference was night and day with Dr. Starvetsky. I could tell her passion for exotics and care for the animals was above the rest.
When Lily's health declined about 8 months later, Dr. Starvetsky provided us with an incredibly kind and professional end of life experience. The dreaded decision that every pet owner must make someday was made so much easier by the TLC she gave both Lily and I. The staff made the process of saying goodbye to my girl of 12 years as easy as it possibly could be. I greatly appreciate how both the tech, Sarah I believe, and Dr. Starvetsky showed us kindness and support in a very difficult time. I was even offered sweet little ink footprints of Lily's tiny feet done by the staff.
Overall, I am very grateful to have an exotics vet that is knowledgeable, trustworthy and caring right here in Hershey. If I get back into exotics again, I will 100% be bringing their care to this practice. Thank you again!

Well, *I* was very happy with the care and compassion shown KittyPuss. I’m not so certain KittyPuss felt the same. After all, she was on the receiving end of the needles. All levity aside, I am pleased with AHDC.
