Our In-Patient Care in Harrisburg

In-patient care for pets is extremely important to us at the Animal Hospital of Dauphin County. Sometimes certain health problems or soft –tissue surgeries may require your pet to stay overnight at our hospital to receive top-notch in-patient care. During this time, our veterinarians and veterinary technicians will closely monitor your pet’s health. During in-patient care for your pet, appropriate treatments and medications will be given to your pet and our veterinary team can administer and medications, antibiotics or fluid your pet may need.

During in-patient care, your pet will also receive the best accommodations and personal attention. Pets will wake to warm smiling faces, will be fed and talked to and will be taken for walks if needed. We know that in-patient care for pets can be a little stressful for your fur babies.
