We are so grateful for this vet practice! Dr Sarsfield has been our vet for many years. He is always helpful, kind, informative, and good with our anxious dog! If he says he will call you, he actually does!! In addition, when our dog gets blood work, he calls to let us know the results!!! The techs are also great, and they are caring & patient with our little gal. Recently, our dog had a wound dressing change with Dr Coby (Dr. Sarsfield was away). Dr Coby was kind enough to come out to the waiting room to let me know what she had done & how our dog was doing! Front desk staff are busy but real troopers in getting us checked in and/or helping with questions/concerns. Debbie even got us a leash to use for our pup since I forgot to bring one!! AHDC is a great practice with super customer service! Thank You!!
Update: We recently had an emergency with our dog on a Sat. morning. The office staff was able to schedule us with Dr. Coby Rudakewiz. She and her tech were super patient with our dog and provided helpful information regarding possible problems. Our dog was placed on a 10 day antibiotic, and we were encouraged to call back if problems. We had no problems & our dog seems fine. Dr Rudakewiz was kind enough to call back after the 10 days to check on our dog! She provided helpful information in the call, and we continue to be so grateful for this practice, and the wonderful care they have provided to us and our dog.

The vets here are wonderful and they will tell you like it is and not sugarcoat the issues with your pet. Been coming here for years and it is always easy to get an appointment at either of their locations
Dr. Zajak is the best. She takes great care of my cat and always makes a fuss over her. The staff and vet techs are great to deal with too. I would definitely recommend AHDC.
Had been a client of Animal Hospital of Dauphin County for years, and then moved from the area. Recently one of my rescue kitties became gravely ill, and we were given a grave prognosis and a huge bill from another facility. Not knowing what else to do, I called Animal Hospital and desperately asked for someone to help me. I was given a same day appt. with Dr. Kelly Allen. She spent two hours with my kitty, performed x-rays, rechecked blood work, rechecked FIV, and dewormed her. She stayed with us and personally went over the x-rays with us, and encouraged us, and gave us hope. The tech working with her that day went out of her way to make my kitty comfortable, was also very encouraging, and helpful. Between Dr. Allen and the tech they devoted the entire time to cover all the bases and perform every test. When we left there, we were hopeful that the kitty would be on the mend, and my bill was only half of what I had spent at another facility for a 20 minute office visit, and my kitty is getting better every day.
