How to Handle a Pet Emergency
Sometimes the unthinkable occurs, and your pet needs urgent veterinary care. Our Harrisburg veterinarians want to offer some advice to those forced to handle such an obstacle.
Should you find yourself handling a pet emergency, here are a few pointers:

- Is it Time to Get in the Car? If your pet is bleeding or has a broken bone, it is time to find an open emergency veterinarian. Every circumstance is different.

- Appears disoriented, unable to walk straight

- A hard, swollen abdomen
- Difficulty urinating
