Dr. Austin grew up in Massachusetts, 45 minutes west of Boston. She attended undergrad at UMass Amherst, gaining experience working with cows, sheep, and goats, and earning a pre-vet med degree. She then attended Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine in Tennessee, graduating in 2022. She completed a 1-month rotation here at AHDC during her 4th year of clinicals – loving it so much she decided to stay!! Dr. Austin has an interest in small animal and exotic medicine, as well as soft tissue surgery.
In her free time, she enjoys watching sports, especially hockey. GO BRUINS! She also likes to travel and relax with a glass of wine. She does not own any pets yet, but would like to get a golden retriever one day – or 2, or 3.
