Dr. Sara Michler, DVM, joined the Animal Hospital of Dauphin County team after serving local families for nearly 19 years at a private practice in the region where she also served as Co-Medical Director. Dr. Michler earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Delaware Valley College before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
She has advanced her expertise by becoming a Cat Friendly Veterinarian® and earning her NAVC Human-Animal Bond certification. She also holds a certification in CPR from the RECOVER Initiative. Her primary professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, feline medicine, and geriatric medicine. Dr. Michler is excited to care for pets and connect with clients at both the Hershey Road and Linglestown offices. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys traveling, supporting her children’s activities, and spending time with her family and her two cats.
